Load Cell Hire: Summer 2015 Update
It’s been a long time since we updated you on what we’ve been up to, so long in fact that its taken us a while to remember the login details!
Following on from a steady Winter, 2015 announced itself with a surge in bookings…
In March we were at LS Live to weigh the Olly Murs rig in rehearsals for Lite Alternative, in addition to the load cells that we hired Lite Alt for the tour.
April saw us back at LS Live to weigh the Ben Howard rig, as well as sending equipment on the S Club 7 tour and on McBusted for Lite Alternative.
By early May we had yet more equipment with Lite Alt, this time for 5 SOS, as well as equipment on hire to Kings Of Leon in the US of A! Whilst this was happening we had a large system go out to PRG and we also made our first trip to The Backstage Centre to weigh the Disclosure festival rig. May also found us weighing the Mark Knopfler rig at Elstree!
Another Elton John tour, starting in late May, saw us supply a system to monitor loads on their video screen for the tour, and also a small system to weigh their rig in rehearsals.
With the start of June, whilst still servicing most of the above jobs, we shipped two systems to Rudimental to monitor loads on their spectacular looking Railway Bridge set/lighting feature for festival appearances. Also shipping first week of June was a large system for Star Events for the Download Main Stage and two systems for Chemical Brothers, one for Lite Alt, and one to enable us to weigh the rig, again at Elstree, and again for their festival run…
To top it off we once again supplied LibraCELL Specialist Crew to Star Events for the British Summer Time stage build at Hyde Park, building on last years successful partnership.
July and August look like they will be just as busy! Are you weighing your rig? If not, why not?! Ask us for a quote, safety is cheaper than you think!
